Tim Gunn is back in my life!

I hope I can maintain this thing on a regular basis. I wonder if it will be like a new toy that you play with non-stop for a week and then get bored and move on to something else. Only time will tell. So last night I was so excited because there was finally TV to watch. Typically during the summer I watch nothing but Braves baseball (and reruns of The Office on Tuesday nights), but we're in the All Star Break which means after suffering through the incredibly boring Home Run Derby (I don't care what you say, the Home Run Derby is BORING), and then the even longer (and s...l...o...w...e...r...) All Star Game I'm still stuck with two days of no Braves. But back to last night. Project Runway started it's fifth season on Bravo!

So here are my thoughts. First episodes of shows you love with a new cast are always a little awkward. You (I) immediately start comparing new character X to past seasons character Y and so forth. And I can say character for PR instead of competitor because let's face it, they are characters. You have the rock n' roll/biker chick (which I instantly took a liking to) with the hardcore NYC accent; the tanorexic annoying gay (but not lovable annoying); the guy that talks in the third person; the straight guy; the chick with the tattoos; and so on and so forth. I'll get used to these "strange" new people if for no other reason than to have something new and exciting and well done to watch during the summer that doesn't involve hitting baseballs and eating hot dogs. I can't wait for Ugly Betty to come back.
